Shirley von Sikar is a gorgeous 3-4 year old German Shepherd. Leggy and lively, Shirley is the confident type of Shepherd the breed is known for.  She loves getting out with you on walks and does great in the middle of a pack hike as well.  She walks well on leash, with purpose and with an eye on what’s all around.  She has enough energy to keep up with your daily jog and jaunts around town. At home she’s the sweetest of girls.  She is very attentive, especially when there is a tasty morsel involved.  She’s very motivated to make you happy and picks up on basic commands with positive guidance.  Like many Shepherds, Shirley has a pretty strong prey drive.  She would do best in a home without a cat or small dog to tempt her into giving chase.  Around dogs her size, she prefers those who mind their manners, include giving her space around her dinner dish and not stealing her beloved tennis balls.  Shirley would love to go into a Shepherd-loving home who will shape all her natural confidence and spirit into fun adventures and a lot of learning.
